Mood Boards

I looked at a few different paintings done by Gustav Klimt other then Judith 11 which is the one I want to base my final artefact so I can study the different shapes he has a tendency to use, look at the colours so I can make a colour palette and get a broader scope of the messages within his artwork.

For my artefact I decided to research different types of headpieces to gain some inspiration for my own design.

After making my initial mood board I decided I wanted to make another, honing in on the detailing around the front of the headpeice. I looked at different materials and ways that I could get a regal hair like detail along the back and sides of the hed[peice whilst keeping to the coloyr pallete.

When creating the spirals on the top of the headpeice I made a mood board looking at different techniques and methods of of how I could create them including using worbla, spiralling fabric or plaitting fabric and sewing them into a circle. I looked at different emboridery methods as well throughout my research into this.

Through research I amde a mood board on images that inspire my viel at the front of the headpeice, I looked at how I could encorporte beads into it and looked at materilas that I could use to cereate the viel.

For my photo shoot I wanted to capture nature and depict a sense of tranquility so when creating my mood board for this I looked for images that were very earthy as well as being quite angelic. I looked for how I could encorporate light and dark into my images to create different moods amongst my photographs.
