Using black and white media I decided to capture some of Gustav Klimt's most prominent shapes and patterns so that I can grasp the kinds of patterns I aim to use in my artefact.
After doing this I decided to make a colour palette that I can base my designs off and chose to use similar colours to Klimt's work incorporating gold in it as well, as he uses a lot of gold in his work.
After establishing my colour pallet I decided to sketch out some rough designs for my actual artefact
I liked different elements of each one and decided to try and hybrid them all.
I then began to come up with ideas on how I could create this, incorporating the skills I have learnt during my skills passport lesson and drew up a sketch for my final design
