For this project my class mates and I worked together to place echother in different roles, we had a designer, makler and performer. I designed and performed for Zoe and Natalie designed and peerformed for me, meaning that I made Natalies design of the day dress. I then created a list of requirtements for this project so I had everything in front of me ready to tick off. Simularaly to my other construction projects I wrote out my plan of action and kept not throughout this project, my designer meeting notes so that I could show the process and how I worked with Natalie to make her design come to life.
For my samples for this project I looked at flat tacking, hook and eye fastenings, pattern matching, seams with reverse corners and plaques. This helped me when I was making the dress ans I had already oractised it before.
I made my technical drawing for this dress and made sure to label each section taking care to put in as much detail and information as I could.
Once I had made my toil I did Natalies fitting so I could look at how It fitted her and make any chnages to pattern if I needed to, Here I realised I needed to add extra centimetres into the skirtand mke the sleeves larger.
Once I had made my dress I did a final fitting on Natalie again to double check everything fitted how I wanted it to and make an alterations if I needed to.
I then took my fianl phtotgraphs with hair and makeup
