Varaform is a mesh like, lightweight Thermoplastic, that is activated by hot water and becomes a sticky, floppy material that hardens when it's not hot anymore. Its also non toxic and reusable which makes it environmentally friendly.
It is very good for sculpting because it can stick to itself and therefore it can be layered and built.
I found Its easy to use however it drys really quickly when using it it I had to be quick and its so sticky and floppy that sometimes it can crease and then its difficult to pull it back apart again.
This material is typically used for theatre props and costume.
