The Third man

The Third man is a nor mystery that centres around the death of a childhood friend, harry to a man who goes to see him only to find out he’s mysteriously died. This sends the man into panic as he begins to form conspiracy theories on how this has become a reality when he finds out there was infarct a ‘third man’. It follows his quest to figure out the death of his late friend and there is also a subplot where the man falls in love with Harry’s ex lover who has been hit with the grief of Harry’s passing. This film is very cinematically interesting as it was shot with some very unique and effective perspectives. The film shows some very interesting angles which foreshadow the disruption of the plot and has some uncomfortably long silent scenes which are thought provoking for the audience such as the scene where Anna is walking down the graveyard and camera is still but the scene is around a minute long and all that happeninhg is her walking, what I also thought was interesting about this scene was that it was mimiced in the first scene of the film and then the film ended with it as the final scene. I felt that as there was a perfect amount of storyline within this film and it featured some interesting plot twists.
